General Notes for Training

All cadets are to attend Monday Night training in the dress of the day and with all writing utensils needed to properly complete their classes.

If a cadet does not get a phone call from their section commander by the end of the week then the cadet should call the section commander instead to obtain updated information.  All information in regards to upcoming events is given out every Monday on parade.  It is the cadet's responsibility to write down and retain information given.  If a cadet is absent it is the cadet's responsibility to get updated info, not the section commander.   Each cadet should have two phone numbers to call.  Their section commander’s and the base.

In order to attend a weekend activity cadets must first sign up on an activity attendance sheet or no spot will be allocated to that cadet. It is expected that those cadets that sign up for an activity attend.  If the cadet can not attend at short notice then they must call down to the base the day of departure to inform the officer in charge of their absence.  Those cadets that sign up to weekend activities and fail to inform staff of their absence will be denied permission to attend the next weekend activity.   Those cadets that did not sign up at all or did not inform their platoon warrant that they wish to attend and show up out of the blue will be sent home as well.

Each cadet must have their Ontario Health Card and Cadet ID card on them at all times.  Your Health card and Cadet ID card must be in your possession for all cadet activities including Monday night training.  All cadets will be checked for all events and if a cadet dose not have the cards the cadet must be sent home.  This is Cadet Movement policy that the officers of this corps can not make exceptions to.
